SUMMER SCOUP // FRI 1ST JULY

A NEW SUMMER COLLECTION OF ORIGINAL ARTWORKS

PREVIEW NIGHT 1ST JULY
We are excited to introduce new works by our current line up of artists, along with a teaser of what’s to come by a selection of new artists we will be introducing to the gallery over the forthcoming year.
Join us to celebrate Summer and the Art it inspires on our Preview Night, with DJ’s and drinks brought to us by The Eternal Optimist.

Our Summer Line-up includes works by the following Artists:

FEI ALEXELI // CLOSER TO THE SUN
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Fei's collages create a surreal clash between the existing and non-existing worlds.  Her practice involves a combination of different and mixed media. Fei uses photography, photo-montage and digital collage.

JOANNA PILARCZYK // LAZY WEEKEND
Joanna is a London-based contemporary figurative painter and art educator. In her recent vibrant paintings, she focusses on self-portraits, intimacy, femininity, self-care and relationship with her partner and nature.

VICTORIA TOPPING // I NEED A HOLIDAY
Victoria Topping is an internationally recognised artist and illustrator. With an ever-evolving creative practice that fuses digital and traditional techniques, Victoria has created a distinct visual language in her work, incorporating vivid colour, bold forms and recurring motifs.

MARIT GERALDINE BOSTAD // INTRO 3
Marit Geraldine Bostad is an abstract colourist who works and lives in Horten Vestfold County, Norway. She investigates themes such as the inner psyche, memories and human interaction through her series of paintings. She blends colours by pouring paint directly onto the canvas using a variety of tools, seldom using the paintbrush - to create diverse, versatile effects with broad expressive strokes.

BENJAMIN THOMAS TAYLOR
Benjamin Thomas Taylor is known for his bright, Pop Art inspired landscapes. Fuelled by a sense of joy, his detailed paintings and prints open up hyperreal spaces, crossing from reality into a parallel world of limitless possibility, full of colour and creation.

JEAN-LUC ALMOND // NEON WOMAN
Jean-Luc’s highly textured oil paintings have a tangible, sculptural quality. Embracing the transformations that occur when not enslaved to the subject matter, he becomes obsessed with the materiality and texture of the paint itself. He meticulously constructs a portrait using multiple layers of oil before masking, erasing, and blurring features through bold impasto marks, scratching, and peeling.

MARCELINA AMELIA// HARD BEEING ME
Marcelina Amelia is a UK-based contemporary artist working with mixed media, approaches to print, painting and drawing. She often draws inspirations from her Polish heritage, spiritual, sexuality, and the human condition.

TIM LANE // PINK PLANTS
Tim Lane favours an unplanned, automatic drawing method that inspires highly charged symbolic imagery. Exploring the natural world in an often dark, unsettling but decorative way. His work gives form to the complex emotions stirred by nature and the sublime.

DAVID HARDY // SELFIE IN THE POOL
Originally from Nottingham, London artist David Hardy's style mashes up the cult and iconic in an urban/pop art manner creating his iconic figurative paintings.
