"I am fascinated by space and the relationship between simple shapes and lines. I like to play with perspective in my works, combining basic two-dimensional shapes to give the illusion of a three-dimensional form. 
I approach my paintings in a similar way to my digital work, using multiple layers to create texture and depth. I start with a very basic composition and build on it to create something that is almost confusing to the eye at first glance, but once you study the image your mind fills in the gaps and makes sense of it. The compositions are aesthetically pleasing but in a way that will be unique to each viewer. "
